DA Student Teachers
So this post is a bit overdue but I had to wait for the photos to be used for their intended purpose before I could share! These girls are simply amazing! They are amazing dancers that represent the Dance Academy as regular student dancers as well being the seniors on the competition team. They are student teacher to the younger kids at DA as well as dance on their High School dance teams as well. They take honors classes and excel and are generally kind, fun, well rounded kids you enjoy being around! So…. before I gush anymore… here are my faves!

Everyone always asks, why kids? Why not weddings? Weddings pay more, they are “seemingly” less work (They are not really…. hats off to my wedding photographer friends!) This is why!!!! I. LOVE. THESE. IMAGES. When I was like 12 or 13, I found work by Kim Anderson and I fell completely and totally in love with children’s photography. I cut apart her $4.00 calendars and framed them all around my room. Her style, her poses, her themes…. I like to think that Miss Kim Anderson might have a little appreciation for this little gem of a shoot!

Miss A rocked her TeePee Mini back a few weeks ago! It was hotter than blazes but she is tiny and didn’t care! She loved the teepee, she loved the flowers and she genuinely had a little fun! It is AMAZING how many awesome shots we can get in a 15 solid minute mini!!

Murfreesboro Photographer: VW Hippie Session
Every summer I do a shoot with my girls and their cousin Emma. This year we started talking about how much Emma looked like a 60’s flower child and how she definitely needed a Hippie Shoot. After we located the most awesome car and props, I can honestly say, this shoot surpassed my vision! Next I’m on a mission for a VW BUS!

Murfreesboro Children's Photographer: Wonderland
Since Alice through the Looking Glass is a favorite of my kids, I wanted to do a Wonderland themed shoot! Being that I have three girls, I needed to enlist the help of a boy cousin! We did the three “littles” and they had a ball! Our very camera shy cousin turned into a little Ham and had so much fun doing this shoot! He was a perfect Mad Hatter! Its hard to narrow down when its your kids, so, warning…. picture heavy!! Here are my favs!
